Heritage Village consists of many Unique Gift and Specialty Shoppes, a charming Tea Bar and The Café on the Avenue. All nestled among the canopied Oaks, Palms and Magnolia trees in the historic downtown of Crystal River Florida, on North Citrus Avenue. This Cracker town, still today, carries the reputation of a Fisherman Village from days gone by, so we strive to continue the theme of yesterday with today’s creative additions.

The Family Home Place of Harvey and Ada B. Edwards, which is now “The Heritage House” is where the vision began of creating Heritage Village. This home, dating back to the early 1800’s, along with other small cracker style cottages were preserved and turned into specialty shoppes of all flavors. The family of the Edwards, Kay and Ed Tolle (along with their children Huey and Laura Lou) inherited the estate over 20 years ago and wanted to keep their family’s memory alive by creating this quaint village. With these Historic Homes being the Heart of the Village, the family continues the theme by building more Specialty Shoppes, with wrap around porches and tin roofs to add to your shopping pleasure.
