Hello friends of the Village...
The HUV (Heart Uv Village) was created to help people get around Heritage Village better. Basically the Villlage Welcome Center. We were finding that because some of our visitors are not there on a regular basis, they did not realize that it just may be possible that the shoppe they were looking for was still there, just in a new home. Even those who thought then knew us well, didn't realize we housed 15 specialty shoppes and eateries on Heritage Side of Citrus Avenue. This is why we created a Heritage Village Map, to assist in getting the fullest experience in our quaint Village setting. We love to make people feel at home and if nothing else, offer a nice resting place.
We also help promote our events through the year and make sure you each have the opportunity to sign up for our newsletter. We love to help promote our Local Artists, and have created Market Day with Art to take it a step further. Some of their work is in the HUV, from Cedar Rockers, old fashion Candy Machines, and canvas art and aprons...mixed with antiques and color...giving us the Shabby Chic style I love so much. Makes the place fun, homey and down right unforgetable.
We do not know where the future will take us....but for now we are having fun and helping the Village. Stop by and sit a spell, we love to visit and share with you about our wonderful Village. Hey, we have even been known to do Air Brush Tanning in the back room (by appointment only...you just never know with us! haha The HUV is run by volunteers, so right now you will see Pat, Joan or myself...Just to give you the heads up...we are heading in the directio of flowers and lots of color...Julie has the green thumb and we are looking forward to the talents she is going to offer.
